But all of the fancy adjustments and touch-screen settings are great, but to physically position the actual individual check in the tray is not marked or has a slot or anything. I can print things like a normal printer. I had to get a new printer as the last one (cheap-o HP) died (but it did live a long, productive life ) so I got the new ENVY Photo 7155. The previous HP printers had some accommodation for this with a slot or whatever into which I'd place the check according to the orientation set with printer program and it worked perfectly for many years. The program settings allow the orientation of the check (left, right, center, etc) to position the check in the print tray without any other paper in the tray. It has worked with 2 other HP printers but this new unit has me stumped. I have a stand-alone program I got years ago to print personal checks. My issue is more (all?) mechanical than electronic/computer-related. I purchased the above HP ENVY printer a couple of weeks ago. Not sure the system info will be much help here but I put it in anyway.
